And we're off!

We are off on another adventure! This one is once again named after my favorite song....itself a celebration of traveling into the unknown......a joyous pursuit.
I'm a full time Tennessee Tech employee this year....and this comes with some perks! One of the most appealing is the time off between Christmas and New Years. Add a couple of vacation days and we're looking at two weeks......the perfect chance for travel.
Laurie and I will be venturing this trip to places we have not been before. We fly out of Atlanta, transfer in Paris, and finally land in our first destination.....Switzerland! Our time there will include Christmas markets on Lake Geneva, The Matterhorn, and Christmas in a Swiss village high in the Alps.
After our alpine adventure, we come down from the mountains and and head north. We plan to spend 5 days (including New Years) in Berlin! It seems like it will be a fascinating city and we're truly excited. Northern Germany is a new destination as well.If you are getting this, we are at the airport or in the air and we are on our way. Come see the world with us!
